With Athmer Fingerschutz® systems, fingers trapping between door leaf and frame can be effectively avoided. Drop Seals
designed to overcome the technical challenges faced
by door manufacturers and designers. The seal drops
automatically when the door is closed to form a seal
with the floor, retracting when the door is opened to
ensure the door operation is unhindered. Their main
purpose is to provide an effective barrier against sound transfer at the door threshold, as well as smoke, air,
light, dirt, dust, insects and odours.
Perimeter seals
to offer solutions for a wide range of gap sizes, fixing
locations and applications. This includes rebated, selfadhesive
and surface-mounted options for both door
stops and frame reveals. Their main purpose is to
provide an effective barrier against sound transfer
between the door and door frame, as well as smoke,
air, light, dirt, dust and odours. They can also
effectively muffle door closing noise.
Intumescent seals
for use in a variety of fire door applications.
Intumescent fire seals are a key component in fire
doors, used to protect the gaps between the door and
frame as well as encasing certain door hardware.
Athmer products can be chosen with or without a
protective PVC casing. Our encased intumescent fire
seals can be supplied with integrated brushes and fins
for additional smoke and acoustic protection.
